Analysis of the development of China's ink market at present, the Asia Pacific region has become an important center of the world's ink manufacturing industry. It is estimated that the total ink market in Southeast Asia and Australia is close to 130000 tons, with an amount of more than US $500million. However, it should be noted that the development of the ink industry in various countries in the Asia Pacific region is very different. Half of the world's top 10 ink companies are headquartered in Japan. China, India and Vietnam are countries with rapid development, while the printing industry in other countries has just started
with China becoming the fastest-growing economy in the Asia Pacific region, the world's major ink manufacturers have made major investment activities in China, such as Toyo ink, sakatainx, DIC, Flint ink, Donghua ink, etc. As the fourth largest ink producer in the world, China's ink output accounts for about 6% of the world. At present, China has a printing ink comprehensive search engine, with an annual production capacity of about 250000 tons, second only to the United States, Japan and Germany. The total volume of China's ink market is 5billion yuan per year. Statistics show that in 2003, China's ink continued to maintain a high-speed growth momentum, and the annual output increased by 14.5% year-on-year
experts predict that this year will be another year of rapid development of the ink industry after last year. It is understood that more than 50 countries and regions in Eastern Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia are gradually increasing cooperation with Chinese ink manufacturers. At present, there are more than 300 ink manufacturers in China. Experts predict that the demand for ink in China's domestic market will increase by 9% a year in the near future
insiders pointed out that China's economy will continue to grow at a high rate of 7% to 7.5% per year in the next few years, and the growth rate of China's printing industry will exceed the growth rate of GDP. The annual growth rate of the publishing industry will reach 8% to 10%, while the annual growth rate of the packaging industry will reach 12%. The driving forces driving China's economic growth are mainly China's accession to the WTO, the urbanization of the rural population, the competition and development of the media industry, and the preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games
there are two main reasons for the rapid development of the ink industry: first, with the development of China's economy and cultural undertakings, the printing and publishing industry is developing rapidly, and the development of cultural undertakings directly affects the sharp increase in China's domestic demand for ink. At the same time, ink export has also become the main reason to promote the growth of ink production. Relevant experts predict that the demand for lithographic offset printing ink, flexo printing ink, flexo printing ink rupture strength testing machine for special inks and other products in carton, paperboard, paper and other industries will show an upward trend in the domestic market in the next three to five years. The following is an overview of the demand for various ink products in the domestic market
◆ lithographic ink: in the future, the market demand will increase steadily, but the range will not be too large. It will increase at the rate of 5%-6%, and the broken part should account for 40%~45% in the middle of the measurement mark, among which the growth rate of rotary offset ink will be faster
◆ relief ink: the total proportion will decline, but the proportion of flexographic ink will continue to rise, which is also in line with the development trend of the United States, Japan and other developed countries
◆ gravure ink: the overall situation is stable, but the plastic ink inner printing and surface printing of "composite digital production system" SABIC through cutting-edge technology and process are on the rise, which is different from the international trend, because it involves environmental protection recycling and other issues
◆ perforated ink: the market sales volume tends to rise, mainly due to the increase in the use of ink in metal, glass and plastic wire. Moreover, the silk printing equipment has broken the backward situation of the original manual printing machine, and some regions have begun to introduce foreign advanced silk printing equipment, so that the consumption of silk ink has increased
◆ special and special inks: the general trend is that the use of inks is increasing day by day, such as spray printing ink, anti-counterfeiting ink, pearlescent ink, label ink, fluorescent ink and phosphorescent ink, which will increase with the increase of market demand in the future
with China's entry into WTO and the strengthening of people's awareness of environmental protection, advanced alcohol soluble and water-soluble inks and other environmental friendly inks will show a rapid growth momentum. The printing industry must consolidate and develop the existing offset printing production capacity, improve the gravure printing, silk screen printing, inkjet printing and curved surface printing capacity, develop flexographic printing, and improve post press processing technology. We should vigorously develop high-end packaging products, increase the added value of products and meet the needs of the domestic market and exports
in the future, the development goal of inks is to meet the needs of multi-color, high-speed, fast drying, no pollution and low consumption, improve the quality of thermosetting rotary inks, flexographic inks and other products, improve the adaptability to modern printing processes and product stability, and actively develop various water-based inks, anhydrous offset inks, food packaging inks and sun resistant inks that are still in shortage and blank in China
