ExxonMobil recently announced that the company is building a 650000 ton/year polyethylene (PE) plant in Beaumont, Texas. ExxonMobil said that the construction work has begun, and the device is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2019. However, ExxonMobil did not say what type of PE the device would produce

in addition, ExxonMobil is currently building two other 650000 ton PE production plants in Mont belvieu, Texas, which are an important development direction/year of high molecular materials at present. They are planned to be completed and put into operation in the second half of next year

ExxonMobil currently has six PE production units in Beaumont, with a total capacity of 1.2 million tons/year. One unit produces high-density polyethylene (HDPE), three units produce linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), and two units produce low-density polyethylene (LDPE for standby after uniform thickness). ExxonMobil currently has three sets of solutions for efficient molding and gross margin improvement of PE equipment in Mont belvieu, with a total capacity of 1.17 million tons/year, of which two sets produce LLDPE, and the other set of 240000 tons/year HDPE equipment is being expanded to 300000 tons/year, which is expected to be completed in 2017
